quick eBay sellers, Santa somehow appears in every mall in every city at the same time and children's screams are heard across the land on Christmas Day.Vince Young apparently couldn't wait.The Tennessee Titans quarterback already seems to feel like a kid again as he has made headlines for his shameful and childish tantrum after the Titans' 19-16 overtime loss to the Washington Redskins on Sunday.Young injured his thumb during the game and was replaced for the rest of the afternoon by rookie Rusty Smith.Reports state that Young, apparently frustrated at not being put back into the game, threw his shoulder pads and jersey into the stands after the game, mumbled profanities under his breath during coach Jeff Fisher's postgame press conference and then stormed out of the stadium, blowing off former college teammate Michael Griffin on his way out.Later that evening, Young posted on his Twitter account that he "Just want(s) to play.”This sounds familiar. My five-year-old son also throws temper tantrums when he just wants to play, too. Sometimes it's not time to play, though, and that's not his call. It's mine.Young reportedly tossed his pads and jersey into the stands. He is the coach, and he wasn't convinced that Young's thumb injury would allow him to grip or throw the ball well enough to return.Vince Young acted like a child on Sunday. His immature tirade is not fitting behavior for any grown man, much less an NFL player. It was more akin to that screaming kid at the grocery store, upset that his mom won't buy him a candy bar.Young seemed more mature in college. performance for the Longhorns was one of most fun games to watch in football history.Sad that it now seems like a distant memory. In the place of that glorious leader is a grown man acting like an entitled punk kid who plays when he wants.NFL players are professionals. They call football a man's game.Vince Young is apparentlyno longerprofessional or a man.He should stay where he went after he stormed out as the Titans move on.
