Area standouts to participate in football all-star game

Several area prep gridiron greats will get one last chance at glory Saturday when the annual Wisconsin Football Coaches Association All-Star game is held at Titan Stadium on the campus of UW-Oshkosh.
All will be playing on the Division 1-3 South team.
Included among that group will be running back nfl jerseys Cole Myhra and kicker Kyle French from the WIAA State Division 1 runner-up Menomonee Falls team. Myhra was the NOW Newspapers Player of the Year while French was also All-Suburban as well as consensus all-state choice who has signed with Wisconsin.
North Shore stars
Also on that team is powerhouse offensive lineman Bryan Keys of Germantown, who recently placed in the shot put at the state track meet and has signed with Division II Minnesota-Mankato.
From the North Shore Conference champion Homestead team will be two-time NOW All-Suburban selection and All-State choice Lucas Speaker at linebacker. He will be joined by fellow NOW selection and All-State choice offensive lineman Justin Barber. Barber recently played a pivotal role in helping Homestead win the state track title with two high places in the shot put and discus.
Also representing the Highlanders will be All-Titans jersey State defensive lineman John Laihinen.
From Whitefish Bay will be NOW All-Suburban all-purpose selection Brian Kroll. Kroll, who will be playing defensive back in the game, was also a top-notch running back for the state playoff qualifying Blue Dukes.
Game on TV, radio
